1) Gesture Drawing for Storyboarding:
This course taught me to approach drawing with a strong sense of overall design, helping me become more intentional and confident with my lines. I practiced translating character proportions into dynamic poses using reference, and developed the ability to analyze other artists’ work by viewing their drawings as deliberate compositional choices rather than isolated gestures.

2) Story Revisionist Crash course
This course deepened my understanding of the revisionist role—bridging the gap between rough thumbnails and refined, on-model characters. I learned how to enhance emotional storytelling through clear staging, recognize subtleties in a director’s boards, and effectively use annotations to communicate visual ideas within a production pipeline.

3) Advanced Storyboarding
In this ongoing course, we explored cinematic staging across both TV and feature formats—learning to cut between multiple camera setups or choreograph scenes with a single moving camera. We broke down a script, analyzed character relationships, and blocked out scenes accordingly. The focus was on performance, posing, and narrative clarity, with the goal of producing a polished animatic with voice-over.
